Diverse culture, language, can gives a clear picture about Rural areas of India. These two things create challenges for the country to unite the whole India and other than issues like infrastructure to reach and connect villages to the rest of country (main market), purchasing power of the villagers, low per capita income, are hurdles. Education can play a major role to develop the community in true sense and this is the only thread by which we can unite and depicts ourselves.

Education Sub Heading

Skill Education :- Skill based education is not a choice but a need in India where the demand for skilled professional is still very high and the desire to get skilled is low. Learners, parents and society prefer directly provided education through.

Child Education:- GHEWS’s educational initiatives include Pre-school [3-6 yrs], Non Formal Education [6-14 yrs non-school going], Remedial Education [6-14 yrs school going] and Bridge Course [14-18 yrs drop-outs].

India is a densely populated country where a large number of people live without access to the basic education and primary health facilities. The situation is more complex in rural villages comparing to the urban areas. Their houses are poorly established and do not have proper supply of water and electricity. They somehow manage little water from resources available at the distant places and hardly think of having shower, clean their cloths and renovate their shelters. In addition to their poor socio economic condition, another major cause of their sufferings is lack of education and public awareness.

Objectives

  • 1. To increase public awareness that disease are significant public health problem.
  • 2. To increase public awareness of symptoms and signs of disease.
  • 3. To improve the knowledge and attitudes of patients about detection, treatment and control of disease.
  • 4. To promote the family and community educational material essential for positive lifestyle habits.
  • The youth comprises over one-third of the Indian population which in turn constitutes a major part of the labour force of the country. The number of underprivileged youth in India who lacks education and proper guidance is so huge that according to the reports of the Financial Express “Only 15%of the young graduates passing out of colleges are employable; the rest are branded ‘unemployable’.”

It is not their lack of theoretical knowledge that causes this. Instead, it is the lack of right skills and attitude. There is thus, an increasing concern among the leading employers of the country, about the dearth of ready-to- deliver employees. In addition, the macro perspective affirms that, it is crucial for the energy of the underprivileged youth to be channelized properly with proper direction to aid economic growth and nation building to elude their addition to family woes, social stress and national misery.

Various studies, as well as our experience, have shown that when we work towards women empowerment, the whole society benefits. But unfortunately in India, far from being empowered, most women are denied even their basic rights like health, education, employment and a respectable status in society...

    We support following projects

we especially design and support following projects for women’s 1. Knitwear projects Subcategories Elastic Tape Knitted Socks Nylon Socks 2. Shirt Manufacturing 3. Children garment manufacturing 4. Women’s garment manufacturing

GHEWS lays great emphasis on ‘people’s power’. The consequence can be noticed in the environment of team spirit, collective experience, hard work and commitment in which and on the basis of which the whole organization runs. Very essentially this is manifested through the dedicated GHEWS team who proficiently strives to achieve the mission mentioned above. Now, more than ever before, GHEWS has long- and short-term volunteers participating in the project activities injecting fresh ideas and knowledge into the strong GHEWS team.

    Vision

    1. A society which is armed with information and knowledge to achieve comfortable living standards; which believe in good governance, equality and respect for each other. 2. People have an inherent capacity to achieve – even in the face of adverse conditions – provided they are given with help and guidance.
